About Us: RUG PLAZA is a dynamic and growing business specializing in high-quality rugs, flooring products and windows covering. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience for our clients. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Salesperson and Social Media Coordinator.
Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated student currently studying Business or a related field, or someone with at least two years of experience in sales and customer service, to manage our sales operations and social media presence. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, managing our Facebook page, and ensuring our shop’s presentation meets our high standards. Physical fitness is required as you will need to handle and move products around the shop, including going up and down ladders.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service to help clients find the right products for their needs.
Assist with sales transactions and follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain an organized and attractive shop environment by arranging and displaying products.
Social Media Management:
Manage and update our Facebook page with engaging content, promotions, and news.
Interact with our online community to build and maintain customer relationships.
Monitor social media trends and use insights to enhance our online presence.
Physical Duties:
Move rugs and flooring products around the shop, including lifting and carrying items and using ladders for rearranging displays.
Ensure the shop is tidy, well-organized, and products are displayed effectively.
Qualifications:
Currently studying Business, Marketing, or a related field, or at least two years of experience in sales and customer service.
Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Experience in social media management, particularly Facebook, is a plus.
Physically fit and comfortable with moving products and working on ladders.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
