General Helper At Home

We have a busy blended household (none of the kids are with us full time) and we are looking for some easy-going support to keep the family and home on track.

Short periods of help for 3-4 hours with the following tasks, in addition to other similar tasks as required:

1. Hanging laundry
2. Folding laundry
3. Stripping beds
4. Making beds
5. Putting dishes in the dishwasher
6. Taking dishes out of the dishwasher and stacking them in the cupboards
7. Light kitchen cleaning
7. Vacuuming the house
8. Packing away kids toys
9. Cutting veggies or fruit ahead of dinner meals
10. Trips to the shops to pick up bits and pieces, or drop or pick up to or from sport (depending on whether you have your own transport)

Ideal student:
- someone with a little experience with (or tolerance for!) kids, and this can simply be family or friends’ kids – our youngest is 7, so all of them are pretty self-sufficient
- someone happy to pick up a variety of tasks, based on what’s needed
- someone comfortable just being an extra pair of hands

$25 - $30 per hour depending on what you can do.
