Who we are:
Dawn’s Tutoring is a small business based in Sutherland. At Dawn’s Tutoring, we aim to provide a learning experience in a calm, relaxed learning environment. Each child is provided with exceptional tuition in an encouraging and stress-free environment designed to improve skill levels and desire to learn. We address individual needs, build academic confidence and enhance motivation.
Diagnostic assessment will determine focus for tutoring and will be revisited regularly to ensure tutoring is relevant to students’ needs and to monitor progression.
Job Overview:
We are currently looking for committed tutors for a Monday and/or Thursday evening for 4pm and/or 5pm start, possibly Tuesday going forward. We are seeking professional educators with a Bachelor in Primary Education or studying to become a teaching in their last year of study.
Dedication, kindness, attention to detail and a passion to encourage confidence in learning is essential for the role.
What you will do:
Your role will involve:
· Creating lessons
· Tutoring K-6 students
· Providing your students/carers with feedback and progress updates.
Essentials
· You will need a current Working with Children Check (WWC).
