About the role
We're looking for a Casual Field Representative to join Retail Select Team and provide a range of service options to the two Bunnings stores in the Mackay area that enable our Dulux, Cabot’s, Selleys and Yates brands to continue to grow and win in the marketplace. As a member of our team, you'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed, both from your leaders and your colleagues.
The focus of the role is to deliver in-store visual merchandising services aligned to a specific our service level agreements and to support, train and deliver in-store projects. You will be an in-store ambassador for our business and build strong relationships with both the Bunnings and the DuluxGroup teams.
In this autonomous role, you will play a key role in enabling our sales teams to execute their roles, support their in-store strategies and provide the best possible shopping experience for our consumers. You will also have the opportunity to understand our marketing fundamentals from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will be available to work approximately 19 hours per week (including weekends) for an initial 10 month period and we are super flexible around days and times. The role involves fortnightly store visits to Airleigh Beach and you'll be compensated with a travel allowance.

Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining key customer relationships
- Ordering, merchandising, and stock presentation (including manual handling)
- Maintaining in-store displays
- Ensuring products are priced and ticketed correctly
- Assist with major planogram initiatives

Skills & Experience
- Previous sales and merchandising experience in retail and hardware (desirable but not essential)
- Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have your own vehicle
- Sound computer skills
- Strong time management, prioritisation skills and own initiative
