Student Engineer- Project Delivery

We are looking for a suitable candidate to assist the Engineering Team in a short-term project over 3- 6 months. The role would be most suited to someone who is currently studying engineering or similar and is available to work 3 - 4 days a week over the summer months. Ideally, we are looking for this candidate to commence in November/December.

About the company:

Sunbather is a highly reputable manufacturer operating within the swimming pool industry since 1974 producing premium pool cover and pool heating products. We are also part of the Fluidra family employing over 500 people within the ANZ region.

What you will be doing:

- Use a Proline plotting machine to precisely measure prefabricated swimming pool shells.
- Input measurements into data software program.
- Liaising from site back to our Engineering team.
- Maintaining accurate records and data.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships, integrity and accountability with the Engineering team and stakeholders.
- Full training will be provided.

What we are looking for:

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential).
- A graduate Engineer or studying towards a qualification in engineering, or qualification or experience as a Fitter & Turner.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Absolute attention to detail.
- An ability to self-manage and work independently.
- Autonomously prioritise and schedule daily work and commitment to complete the tasks on time.
- A driver's licence and own vehicle required.
- A high proficiency in computer database management and MS computer programs.
