Our centre welcomes men and women over the age of 50, providing various daily activities and social opportunities for engagement. Be a part of making a difference in our community.
We have now extended services into Home and Garden maintenance to support the demand for our senior community.
We're currently seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for a Casual Gardener Position, available for up to 20 hours per week with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain and nurture the gardens and outdoor spaces of our clients.
-Prune, trim, mow and edge lawns.
-Carry out basic landscaping tasks such as mulching, shrub removal, planting and soil management.
-Regularly check and maintain garden tools and equipment.
-Uphold the organization's values and reputation for excellence.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is beneficial.
-Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients.
-Physically fit to perform outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.
-Strong organizational skills.
-Demonstrated reliability and flexibility.
-A positive attitude and passion for enhancing natural beauty.
-Full drivers license

About Palm Beach Share And Care
Palm Beach Share-N-Care is a registered charity organisation, in Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
For over 40 years Palm Beach Share-N-Care has been one of the main meeting grounds for the senior citizens of Palm Beach, Gold Coast. We are also a major distributor for “Meals on Wheels”, where we deliver nourishing and balanced meals, cooked onsite in our centres facilities, to the seniors living across the Gold Coast.
Our centre is here for men and women, in the age 50 + living in and nearby the suburb. We offer a wide range of daily activities, and provide social settings, where our seniors have the opportunity to engage in as little or as many activities they like.
What We Do
There is always something to do at our Centre! Our activities include: Bingo, dance, jolly seniors, card games, indoor lawn bowls and fitness classes to name a few (See our Activities page for more information). Furthermore
