Job Description
We are partnering with a world leading energy infrastructure business for the recruitment of a Senior Project Manager to join our clients IT Team delivering projects for their Asset and Operations customers. This is a long term contract until June 2024.

Lead and guide the project team to ensure the project is delivering the required business outcomes, establishing trust and effective relationships with all stakeholders involved in the project Develop, maintain, and deliver fit for purpose project management plans and progress reporting, ensuring the appropriate alignment and allocation of resources Identify, engage, influence, and negotiate with key project stakeholders, internal and external including vendors, to achieve project outcomes and benefits Work closely with the project sponsors and owners to ensure the project delivers the right outcomes to meet business requirements Monitor project actuals, forecasts, and benefits against budget allocation Manage the risks associated with the delivery of complex projects, prepare detailed mitigation strategies and contingency plans, monitor, and control of mitigation activities and escalate where necessary Ensure variation management is carried out in a timely manner, when any change to scope, cost and/or timeline is required Ensure the project is aligned in design and delivery to wider business unit plans Understand current company systems and processes to ensure project business and technical change management is appropriately conducted About you:
Prior experience in delivering projects within Oracle Primavera P6, Contruent (formerly AERS) PRISM, OpenText ECM, Digital Twin and Commissioning Management Software will be well regarded. Project Management Qualifications / Certification and significant delivery experience covering both Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies/frameworks (e.g.CPPM, Scrum, Kanban, PMBOK, PRINCE2) Extensive and continuous experience in project management with recent proven experience in the role of Senior Project Manager Demonstrated experience in leading project teams on large, complex projects Extensive experience using project management tools, lifecycles, and methodologies.
