  • Casual Pay Rate, Cafe Supervisor – Duty Officer, $32.44 per hour Mon-Fri rates, plus additional penalties on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays!
  • About the Role…

    Dubbo Zoo is seeking a casual Food and Beverage Supervisor to support the café operations in our Café Wild, Café Waterhole and Taronga Zoo Western Plains Events.

    This unique role (based at the zoo!!) presents the opportunity for a motivated and switched-on hospitality leader, to step up and into the food and beverage supervisor position, and lead the collaborative team!

  • Café shifts generally range from Mondays to Sundays: 8am till 4pm
  • Events shifts generally range from Fridays and Saturdays: 5pm till 1am
  • 20 to 38 hours available per week depending on your availability
  • Ability to pick up extra shifts throughout holiday periods or when your availability allows

    We’re looking for someone with a great and willing to lead attitude. Someone who is flexible and can jump into our café’s and functions and lead the team forward.

    You will:

  • Deliver high quality leadership to the café and function teams
  • Exceptional customer service to our guests in the café and functions
  • General duties across functions and cafes: Preparing the cafe for service (Till set up, open and close café) Taking orders, eftpos transactions, assistance with guest queries Coffee making duties Supervise food and beverage staff for café and function service when required Assist with inventory control/ invoices/ stock etc. Oversee food service Function set up and pack down
  • About You…

    We are looking for candidates that have/ are willing to:

  • Experience in supervising a small team with front-of-house food and beverage duties
  • Experience making coffees desirable
  • An ability to meet varying roster commitments, including out-of-hours, school holidays and weekends
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or the potential to obtain certification
  • Obtain and maintain a current paid NSW Working with Children Check
