Job Description
- .Net Developer
- Contract is until June 2024 with possible extensions
- Based in Canberra
- Australian Federal Government
Key Accountabilities in your New Role as a .Net Developer:
- Strong technical skills in
- .Net Framework/.Net Core
- Modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.JS
- Restful APIs
- SQL server
- Conduct unit and integration testing under supervision, record the details of any failures.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code to specifications following Departmental standards, practices and security requirements, for example implementing APIs or services for internal and external use.
To be Successful for this position you should:
- Experience developing and delivering public facing web applications utilizing established development tools, guidelines and conventions including the following technologies:
- ASP.NET MVC / .NET CoreĀ
- JavaScript / Typescript
- CSS frameworks including Bootstrap
- Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
- Experience in SQL / Entity Framework.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in CI/CD Practices.
- Experience with PowerShell automation.
- Experience with concurrent development source control (Git).
- Experience in Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices, e.g. SOA Experience in Reactive frontend frameworks including React, Vue or Angular.
