Senior Network Engineer (support)

Title: Senior Network Support Engineer
Salary: $140,000 Base + Super

Your role responsibilities include:

Provide high level technical skills and expertise to support the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and management of a complex enterprise Data Networks infrastructure which underpins critical services.

Support for incident & Change management.

Carry out system configurations, installations, and maintenance to ensure agreed levels of service and data integrity are provided, including developing and maintaining high quality design and support documentation.

Analyse complex issues and identify appropriate solutions and actions to resolve the major incidents

Provide Guidance and technical leadership to more junior Staff

Responsible for ensuring documentation remains current.

Manage companies equipment installed within the customers network ensuring that agreed standards and capacity are maintained.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
The following skills, knowledge and experience are highly desirable but not mandatory:

Excellent networking skills and Experience including, Deploying and supporting Cisco networking and voice equipment -Cisco ASR, ISR routers, Nexus 9K

Troubleshooting and management of Cisco networks (Routers, Switches & wireless)

SD-WAN technologies: Cisco Meraki, Cisco Viptela & Fortinet SD-WAN desirable

Firewall technologies: Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco ASA

Network Management tools: SolarWinds, Splunk, Cisco Prime.

Good understanding and troubleshooting skills on MPLS, VRFs & Traffic Engineering is highly desirable.

Experience on Cisco Prime, Cisco ISE & Infoblox is highly desirable.

Understanding of the main telecommunications carriers and integrator technologies and products.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

10+ years networking experience in a service provider or large enterprise is highly
