    The Manager Digital Vendor coordinates the delivery of Information Technology procurement services, including planning, development and risk management, to meet business needs. The role provides specialist advice, recommendations and support to managers and ensures compliance with whole of Government and Department procurement policies, procedures and guidelines.

    About the role

    This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Information Technology Directorate’s procurement coordination and support service, including planning, governance, and risk management, to meet business needs.

    This role works collaboratively across the Information Technology Directorate and in partnership with Procurement teams to coordinate the delivery of Information Technology procurement services, to streamline governance and implement training and capability uplift initiatives.

    Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or substantial relevant procurement experience, preferably within an ICT environment
  • Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people and
  • Upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people

    You will be committed to innovation and continual service improvement and looking for opportunities to streamline and improve processes with a focus on service delivery.

    You will have a deep understanding of Procurement policies and substantial relevant procurement experience, preferably within an ICT environment. You have a high attention to detail, sound IT skills, with an ability to use systems to dissect and present data in different ways.

    Possessing high level written and verbal communication skills; you will build rapport easily with stakeholders across the business and thrive as point of liaison, providing timely reporting and strategic recommendations to improve the planning coordination and management of procurement activities.
