All about the role
As a small digital team, we aim to build an outstanding program for the future that focuses on Search Engine Optimisation fundamentals, highly integrated through the line campaigns, strong brand engagement, and retention of our existing customers.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager – Australia, the Digital Specialist will help grow our capability in these areas and play a vital role as the custodian of our online platforms.
The role will appeal to anyone looking for a hands-on role in digital across multiple areas; someone who delights in a varied work day, having their content ranking #1 in the SERPS, or AB testing ad creative to find the ultimate high-performing headline.
What you’ll be doing
- SEO Projects : You’ll help research and analyse our web properties for content gaps, write new pieces for our websites, coordinate with our agencies on technical SEO projects, and work with the team on initiatives to grow our backlink profile.
- Paid Media Activity : Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Local Area Marketing Teams, and our Design and Agency Resources to create high-performing paid media campaigns with a keen focus on test-and-learn methodologies.
- Direct Marketing : Partner with our Data Team to put together projects to increase retention and engagement of our existing customers throughout the year.
- Website CRO & Upkeep : Ensure our websites are up to date with the latest information from clinics and partners, publish new content, optimise pages for greater engagement and conversion, and meet any compliance and regulatory requirements necessary
- Reporting . Monitor all digital activity throughout its lifecycle to uncover new opportunities, and report on results to determine how we can deliver better outcomes in the future.
What we’re looking for from you
First and foremost, you’ll be a curious, passionate marketer who enjoys working with others. Our team will always take the time to help each other out, and that’s what we look for in a new team member! You’ll have fantastic attention to detail, and a degree in marketing, communications, or relevant experience in a similar role.
- 2+ years of digital marketing experience.
- Outstanding oral and organisational ability, with proven written communication skills, especially in content writing.
- You enjoy working across multiple facets of digital marketing, but you will have demonstrated experience in Search Engine Optimisation.
- Experience developing and working on multi-channel campaigns (with asset production) aligned with allocated budgets.
- Ability to project manage and multitask while working closely with key internal stakeholders.
- You will take a particular interest in emerging digital marketing practices, ad formats and be eager to try new techniques in the wild.
- You will have experience managing relationships and projects with agencies (or have worked for one yourself).
- Research & reporting hold a special place in your heart, and you delight in solving little mysteries that live inside Google Analytics, Search Console, AdWords, SEMrush and more.
Beneficial, but not necessary
Knowledge of the Australian Healthcare and Dental Market
Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop
CMS experience with Umbraco, WordPress, and/or Wix
