YOUR ROLE
As a Product Owner within our Collaboration & Property Technology team you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering equitable experiences for our people to maintain IAG’s global ranking. It’s an important role because in the 2022 Leesman survey for large global organisations, IAG achieved the highest score for our home-based experience and third highest score overall for our office-based environment. We participate in the global Leesman Survey each year to ensure we are continuing to deliver exceptional physical, digital and remote workplace experiences for our people.
Your role is to articulate and execute on the product roadmap for relevant capabilities in the realm of hybrid work technology. This means you’ll act as a Product Owner for all Microsoft Teams Room, Webex and peripheral technology used in meeting, training, and event spaces, as well as other collaboration technology. Your roadmap will align to the company’s strategic direction and the needs of your customer. You’ll enable our people and partners to connect seamlessly with internal and external parties from within and outside of IAG offices. You will also provide leadership to a team of productivity and collaboration specialists.
This is an exciting time to shape our future as we go through significant technology change. The successful candidate can be based in either New Zealand or Australia. We have flexible working options available and as a team we make an effort to be in the office two days a week. This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday.
ABOUT YOU
• You have 6+ years’ experience and knowledge of IT technology and infrastructure
• A working knowledge of the Agile framework and Scrum practices
• Excellent documentation skills for technical documentation, knowledge articles and user training
• Well-developed coaching and mentoring skills
• You take ownership of the assigned tasks and complete them with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate ability to competently respond to critical system failures
• You have experience and working knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management (ITIL) processes
• A good understanding of contract management and financial management principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in dealing with and managing IT industry vendors
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or industry related experience.
