Your New Career
“Leidos have an opportunity for several experienced Software Engineers to contribute to a new multi-year Defence program to deliver an enterprise Document Authoring, Document Management, Workflow and Dissemination system. This capability will use modern system engineering approaches and technologies (such as Kubernetes) to automate the management, scaling, and deployment of microservices to deliver a scalable and reliable system, providing improved productivity and capabilities to Defence.”
As a Software Engineer a day in the life is below:
- Lead application enhancements to improve business performance.
- Participate in, and leads, enhancement delivery.
- Responsible for maintaining application design and compliance.
- Provide effort estimate for enhancements, patching, and upgrades.
- Investigate uplift and proposals for improvements.
- Ensure provided services meet availability and other requirements.
- Use knowledge of Agile Software Development to contribute to an Agile project in an Agile team
- Assist with the automation of the development, testing and production release of complex software system, using DevOps principals.
Qualifications
About You and What You Will Bring
- Implementation of Content Management, Document Management and Workflow systems.
- Working knowledge of standards such as XML, BPMN, and ODMA, and technologies including micro services, Kubernetes, NiFi, Java, Typescript, relational databases, and S3 storage.
These roles will be based in Melbourne CBD.
Candidates will need to hold an Australian Government Security Clearance and will therefore need to be Australian Citizens.
