The Product Manager Account Services (AUD domiciled and foreign currency accounts) is the key relationship point for all product stakeholders (such as Front Line Sales, Risk, Compliance and other product enablement functions). You will develop and become a product SME and drive the strategic product roadmap while ensuring the products meet their statutory and regulatory obligations, continue to remain fit for purpose and are aligned to the broader ANZ strategic goals. No two days are ever the same and consist of a lot of variety such as:

  • Assist in the development of the strategic product roadmap, applying industry trends, customer and banker feedback.
  • Supporting the Senior Product Manager with ad-hoc projects, queries and presentations
  • Attending banker and customer meetings to discuss product capabilities and how these solve customer problems
  • Working with product stakeholders (Operations, Legal, Implementation) to implement strategic changes
  • Ensuring the products within the Account Services portfolio are managed in line with ANZ’s Product Management policy (this includes completing presentations, attestations for senior leaders, etc.)
  • Assist other Product Managers to deliver prioritised requirements as they arise

About you

  • Tertiary qualified
  • Strong relationship management skills, ability to collaborate, bring people together towards a shared outcome
  • Ability to negotiate and influence across a broad range of stakeholders – both internal and external
  • Ability to synthesise multiple sources of information to make sound decisions keeping the customer at the heart of all decisions
  • Banking and/or product management experience is desirable
  • Understanding of the broader banking environment would be desirable
