We are looking for an IT technician, to work on a high profile government account located in Canberra. The successful candidate will need to be an Australian Citizen, hold Baseline clearance or confident to be able to get one granted, as well as to pass the Company’s background check requirements.
The work involved will be onsite client facing support, troubleshooting will range from lv1-lv3 issues, the deployment of new devices to the fleet including stock room management duties.

Responsibilities:
Stock room management including auditing of all devices.Refresh of old devices swapped with new devices on site.Handle Customer-relation problems promptly and appropriately, provide guidance, escalate issues according to established procedures.Provide technical support to client before, during and after events. Serve as technical consultant to client and staff.Maintain pooled equipment inventory for on and off-site project supportProvide timely and descriptive reports of equipment malfunctionProvide timely and descriptive reports of equipment repair, mitigation and work aroundInput data for metrics tracking including daily work ticketing systemServe as contact between customers, vendors, and internal staff for day-to-day event operationsAssist with storing deliveries and equipmentFoster working relationships with all service-related vendors. (internal and external)Advise staff in event planning with regard to appropriate equipment useEnsure appropriate paperwork flow and work assignmentAvailable to share 24/7 on call rosterAvailable to travel around Canberra and close locations in NSW

When issues come up, your job is to respond them by either handling them, or by pulling in the proper associate, team member, or manager who can.Perform maintenance repair and system overhauls as a matter of routine (like modular swaps and unit replacements). You’ll surely always be on the lookout for preventative measures you can take to correct any and all technical problems before they happen.Basic electronic skills, and some specific hardware and operating system familiarityWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft TeamsDesirable to have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirementsMust pass the Company’s background check requirements, including credit check, criminal, driving record, and drug screenAbility to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation for a disability or based on religion
