Gardener – Berrima at Agricultural Appointments (Sydney)

About the role

This Sydney based family are looking for a part-time Gardener to assist the Property Manager maintain their immaculately presented luxury estate and love it as much as they do.

Extensive well established park-like grounds cover over 14 acres of the property. With the owners off-site you will work with the property manager to help maintain the garden and grounds.

You maybe keen to move from a casual hourly rate position and have 3 full days/week locked and loaded. There maybe flexibility to work 3 days or approx. 24 hours/week across a number of days.

This would suit those with family commitments or semi-retired.

Responsibilities

Mow and edging of lawns

Trim / prune shrubs and trees (including extensive hedging)

Lay and maintain turf grass and manage irrigation

Weeding, fertilising, mulching

Tend to the vegetable patch and herb garden

Maintain chooks & fishponds

Requirements

Experience in farm or large garden management

Capacity to support the Property Manager in wide variety of garden and property maintenance needs

Licensed and to operate, and able to maintain, equipment (from chainsaw to ride-on mowing equipment and tractor)

Confidential & discreet, with professional personal presentation

Location and Remuneration

Location: Berrima / Bowral

An attractive base salary is on offer (an hourly rate can be negotiated)
