    This role is part of the Penetration Testing team responsible for identification, reporting and tracking of security weaknesses within the IT environments, keeping up with the ever-changing threat landscape.

    Do Work that matters:

    As the Technical Specialist you will be responsible for the technology and systems that support the Penetration Testing team. You will employ your technical expertise to support and maintain the systems and infrastructure of the Penetration Testing team. For example, Cyber Attack Lab, jump hosts, and any of the systems used by the Penetration Testing team for reporting and tracking of penetration testing assessments and findings.

    This role will help ensure Cyber Security assessment are integrated into the organisation, driving efficiencies, and to support key decisions that keep the Group safe and contribute to the success of the penetration testing control.

    We are interested in people who have :

  • Well-developed problem solving skills. 
  • Wide-ranging technical skills that enable you to quickly adapt between programming/scripting languages, hosting platforms, and operating systems. Degree-level computer science, computer engineering or similar is highly desired. 
  • Experience with system integration and automation using APIs, scripting, coding, and Linux / Windows.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices AWS Cloud desirable.
  • Experience working with data systems and ability to perform complex queries in tools such as Jira, Splunk, SQL, and ServiceNow highly desired. 
  • Experience with network security scanners and security testing tools highly desirable.
