Systems Engineer

Combining operational and engineering support delivering award winning outcomes to their customers. The successful applicant will be an experienced Systems Engineer that can work within strict critical deadlines.

The successful applicant will have a track record of working on systems such as surveillance, air traffic management systems, C4i, Deployable Networks, Electronic Warfare or similar. You will have the ability to lead engineering teams and have strong engagement skills to confidently deal with customers and stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience working in a Systems Program Office environment
• Knowledge of systems including; Radar, Satellite, Radio, Communications, Deployable Networks, C4i, Electronic Warfare etc.
• Strong communication with technical stakeholders to determine requirements and collaboratively agree mutually acceptable technical outcomes
• Supporting junior and/or senior project leads
• Candidates must have an active NV1 Defence security clearance

Essential

• An engineering degree in a relevant field
• Demonstrated expert understanding of Systems Engineering methods, design and development
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with personnel at different levels and disciplines
• Demonstrated ability to contribute and work in a cross-functional team

Applicants MUST hold Australian Citizenship and have held a defence clearance
