CitiScan Radiology is one of Brisbane’s largest and most technologically advanced independent medical imaging practices. Located on the Queen Street Mall, our state-of-the-art practice provides medical imaging services to CBD workers, students and residents. Our comprehensive practice offers a wide range of medical imaging services including: MRI; Digital Radiography; Low Dose CT; 3D/4D Ultrasound; BMD; Nuclear Medicine and Dental Imaging.

We are looking for a full-time or part-time Medical Receptionist for this busy (but fun and rewarding!) role that will require efficiency and dedication. As the reception team are the first point of contact for our valued patients, we place the utmost importance on ensuring our frontline staff embody our professionalism, patient-centred work ethic and friendly culture. Reporting to the Administration Manager, your core duties will include:
•Providing excellent service to our patients and other stakeholders
•Answering phone calls and proactively maintaining the appointment calendar for our practice
•Ensuring that patients are offered a seamless service with correct preparation, quotes and appointment times.
•Billing patients, processing invoices to Medicare and OSHC and processing payments via EFTPOS.
•Assisting with back-office activities such as stationery orders.

ABOUT YOU
You pride yourself on providing excellent customer service and are seeking a role in a patient-focused clinical environment. You love being part of a team and understand that everyone has to work together to ensure that our patients receive the high-level of customer service and patient care that they deserve.
•Medical imaging reception experience – preferable but not essential
•Sound knowledge of the relevant Medicare Benefits Schedule and associated rules
•Previous experience using the COMRAD radiology information system highly desirable
•Demonstrated sound accuracy with keyboard skills and use of standard software packages
•Provide compassionate patient care and outstanding customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
•Be a motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills who pride themselves on their meticulous attention to detail
•Be able to balance competing priorities and tasks whilst maintaining timely service
