Job Description
We’re seeking applications from Hospitality Workers to join our Toowoomba Aged Care Facility team!
This is a great opportunity for Hospitality Workers(food and beverage attendants/ waitresses & waiters / hospitality all-rounders)aiming to restore their work life balance and gain employment in one of Australia’s fastest growing industries.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of our clients through providing safe and efficient food and beverage service and maintaining impeccable hygiene standards. As part of your role you’ll:
- Provide timely and safe food and beverage delivery
- Maintain high hygienic standards throughout the entire facility| including communal living areas| bedrooms| bathrooms and equipment of our residents.
- Assist with laundry services| housekeeping and any other hospitality related responsibilities as instructed by your supervisor.
What you’ll need:
You’ll be an experienced hospitality worker – preferably within the aged care sector – and demonstrate:
- Excellent customer service
- Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation
- Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of Australian food and beverage standards
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
Previous exposure to nutrition and dietary requirement for the aged is desirable| but not essential
Supporting our clients in the best way possible is important to us. To be employed by Blue Care| you will be required to complete the free NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement and provide a copy of your certificate on completion.
