The Coles Liquor team works across three leading brands (First Choice, Liquorland and Vintage Cellars), each with their own unique offering and customer base. We understand what our customers need and enjoy—and we work side-by-side with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and Strategy to deliver it.
About the role
As the Senior Project Manager, you will be required to deliver projects/initiatives while ensuring that active project governance is being executed to approved budgets, ensuring schedule, resource and risk & issue management is in place.
You will be accountable for individual and team compliance with company values, policies and procedures (including Coles Code of Conduct) and all applicable external laws and regulations. You will lead a strong governance and compliance culture and be require to resolve, manage and report compliance incidents, as well as ensuring team member compliance, training and development is adequately addressed.
Your stakeholder management skills are exceptional as you will be required to engage with project stakeholders – both internal and external to ensure alignment with project objectives, timeframes, deliverables and partner with other departments to achieve results and identify and achieve solutions to business and customer problems
You will have demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager in delivering project solutioning and estimating of projects/programs. You have a strong understanding of IT ecosystem, software development lifecycle, enterprise architecture principles and proven experience in executing projects with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
You have successfully delivered projects with budgets of $5M+ and effectively balance commercial and customer needs.
Experience in a retail environment and SAP is highly desired.
About you and your skills
• 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Project Manager role supporting large organisations
• Proven experience in successfully delivering projects with budgets of $5M+
• Experience in stakeholder management, including executive level
• Experience executing projects with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Ability to organise a team to ensure delivery focus on project objectives
• Ability to communicate well to both project teams and senior stakeholders
• Ability to work with many cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes
• Experience in solutioning and estimating of projects/programs
• Highly collaborative style, able to engage with a diverse range of stakeholder to meet targets
• PMI, Scrum Master or Prince certification desirable
