Job description

Our Site Quality Manager plays a crucial role at The HelloFresh Group by ensuring that products meet certain thresholds of acceptability without negatively impacting the throughput of the distribution center. They thrive for sustainable continuous improvement and total end-customer satisfaction.

Our Site Quality Manager will be both a hands-on leader and able to step back, when required, to have the proper overview of a situation. Based in our Pemulwuy Distribution Centre.

You will…

Plan, review and direct the improvement and execution of the Quality Management Processes in partnership with the Distribution Center (DC) Leadership, other HF DC teams and the Quality Cohort, 

Organise and lead local audits/inspections to ensure observance of GMP, in line with the HelloFresh group, regulatory and customer requirements,

Effective implementation of the resulting corrective/preventative actions to mitigate recurrence and ensure the sustainability thereof,

Be the point of escalation for all arising quality issues, able to make informed, and on the spot decision, or to escalate it to the right stakeholders for a seamless resolution, 

Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of the site quality documentation (e.g. PRPs, SOPs and specific monitoring records) via the Documentation Management System in place,

Lead, encourage and support everyday functions and duties of the Site QC Lead, while continuing to stimulate a high performing team,

Develop and ensure that relevant training programs are planned and delivered to comply with food safety and quality regulatory requirements at the DC level.

 You have/are…

Demonstrated experience ~6 years minimum in working in a similar role, preferably in FMCG and ~4 years minimum in managing an operational team, ideally a QA/QC team and preferably in FMCG,

Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and maintaining compliance to BRC, SQF certification, HACCP requirement programs as well as NSW Food Authority and Australian standards,

Sound understanding of CAPA management and Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 9001,

Possess excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills to manage simultaneously multiple priorities,

Able to effectively liaise with both inter- and intra- disciplinary teams across various departments, strong negotiation ability as well as clear, succinct and to the point communication,

HACCP and internal auditor certification.
