People Experience Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Experience Assistant to join our team. As the People Experience Assistant, you will be exposed to a variety of HR functions and projects. This is a full-time role, however for the right candidate we would consider a part-time 3 day a week role until completion of their studies (ideally in June/July 2023).

The People Experience Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

Providing general administration support and functions to the People Experience Team

Processing all onboarding, offboarding, and variations

Managing and updating employee files in electronic systems

Coordinate staff incentives and benefits such as gift cards, milestone gifts etc.

Work closely with the People Experience Director, Manager and the wider People Experience team to assist on a broad range of HR projects

Triaging the People Experience Inbox

Continuously work to improve processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Assisting the People Experience Team with: The Early Careers programThe end-to-end recruitment lifecycleHR eventsDiary management; andOther activities as directed

What you will bring

To be successful in this role your qualities, skills and knowledge will include:

Demonstrated ability to organise, plan and prioritise multiple deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook etc.)

Ability to learn HRIS and other systems

Professional presentation

Proactive and driven to learn and develop

Completed or completing a Bachelor’s Degree in HR and/or relevant work experience

Ability to identify correlation between HR related university studies and workplace context

Previous administration experience would be highly desirable
