• Manage internal and external enquiries
• Typing, schedule appointments, billing, and receipting
• Switchboard operation

The successful candidate must be able to work a flexible roster between the hours of 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Saturday.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be highly committed to providing excellent service outcomes for all patients, visitors, and doctors.

You will also demonstrate:

• Previous medical reception and/or administration experience
• An interest in a career within the healthcare industry
• Ability to understand and maintain privacy policies and procedures
• A willingness to learn and take on training opportunities
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Ability to adapt under pressure, prioritise and efficiently multi-task responsibilities
• Excellent accuracy

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in the health care industry in either a reception or administrative role
• Ability to accurately type letters and reports from Dictaphone and written notes
• An understanding of Blue Chip (preferred) or similar medical practice package
• Knowledge of private health care funds and Medicare billing

Remuneration

Hourly rate ranging from $30.57 to $31.89 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications.

Requirements

Everyone who joins Ramsay:

• Must be vaccinated against Covid-19, a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
