Catering Supervisor

ESS provides a home away from home for people working in remote mining villages and offshore on oil rigs. We provide the hospitality solutions to ensure all guests are getting the comforts of home even in isolated locations. ESS manages all aspects of large-scale accommodation facilities or “villages” for remote workers, providing the essential comforts such as a hot meal, a clean bed, freshly laundered workwear to health and wellness facilities for those working away from home. 

We are currently seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to join our remote site on a full-time basis in Olympic Dam Village, South Australia.

Key duties:

• Lead, train, supervise and motivate a large team to deliver high quality and exceptional customer service 
• Support and supervise the delivery of service & functions
• Ensure Food Safety Practice is followed and adhered too
• Financial reporting, including cash management and stock control
• Collaborate with management to maintain procedures and actively engage in site safety culture

We are looking for great people with the following attributes:

• Must have team leader or supervisory experience
• Proven experience building and maintaining positing working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong Occupational Health and Safety focus
• Valid Full C Class driving licence
