JOB DESCRIPTION

Mantra Epping is a 214 room hotel in the thriving area of Epping, located 35 minutes drive north of Melbourne CBD. This role includes content management, content writing and development and administration of the company’s websites, other digital channels and digital asset library. Strategy for and activation of tactical marketing campaigns across the hotel’s websites is a key area of the role along with creation and ongoing management of Social channels.

The role requires a multi-tasking approach and demands attention to detail and the ability to deliver within strict project timelines. Open, clear communication with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Venue Manager on task progress is required at all times. You will also be expected to deliver results of digital projects on an ongoing basis.

We are looking for Full Time Sales and Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

General:

The role of the Sales & Marketing Manager is to support the Director Of Sales and Marketing Team alongside the Republic Tavern.

These responsibilities include:

• Day to day management of all inbound & outbound reservations
• Event enquiries
• Managing internal & external marketing and promotional activity.
• Web Updates: Servicing property web changes to brand websites and property direct websites, Accor.com, Mantra Group corporate website, Republic Tavern website & app, and all OTA’s and TPI’s.

Specific Team Responsibilties

• Provide research and reporting assistance to the team – data and results analysis using research provided by external entities and in-house systems such as Sihot, Intouch Data, Calumo and EzyMsg.
• Manage projects as assigned by the Director Of Sales and Marketing and Venue Manager , allocated inline with the skills and particular need areas of the department.

Generic

• Ensure that all information is kept confidential, unless otherwise advised
• Ensure that all Occupational Health and Safety requirements for the company are met within your department. Report any workplace hazards as you see them and support the company in its endeavour to provide a safe workplace
• Represent the company in a positive manner expounding the values, ethics and pride at all times
• Complete to the best of your ability any additional tasks within reason as provided by your immediate manager or their delegate

Key Skills & Experience

• 2 years experience in a digital marketing role or similar
• Previous experience using Photoshop, Dreamweaver and/or Flash
• Understanding of Website CMS platforms and HTML code
• Experience using research and reporting tools for data analysis
