Job Description

What you’ll do:

This is your opportunity to lead, initiate and deliver with Australia’s #1 digital leader- carsales Australia. You will constantly evolve carsales as a digital leader through your expertise in customer growth and retention within leading digital environments.

Marketing, Content and Customer come together to create the stories and campaigns that inspire and educate as well as provide strategic, innovative and cost-effective solutions for our customers. They’re a nimble and collaborative team that offers the full suite of services that you’d find in a digital design agency. 

• Be a pivotal member of the carsales Australia Executive Team
• Lead our teams (Digital, Consumer/Brand, Trade Marketing, Content/Editorial, Public Relations, Voice of Customer and Customer Service) – showcase products, bring new ideas to life and bring each of our brands into the community
• Grow the carsales suite of brands in their market leading positions by providing innovative digital solutions for consumer and commercial customers
• Brands include carsales.com.au, bikesales.com.au, boatsales.com.au, caravancampingsales.com.au, trucksales.com.au, farmmachinery.com.au, constructionsales.com.au, redbook.com.au
• This can be anything from our sponsorships, events, brand presence at local and national sporting events, and highlighting our achievements and team wins through strategic public relations campaigns and media coverage
• Develop and support solutions that deliver Brand Health, Performance Marketing and relative ROI ensuring commercial value is achieved
• Collaborate, influence and connect with internal stakeholders and teams across all parts of carsales and external Dealers, Consumers and Media
• Understand and agree group marketing goals to evolve carsales Australia in making buying and selling a great experience
• Develop and execute on the carsales Australia Marketing budget

Qualifications

What are we looking for? 

• Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously). 
• Demonstrate understanding and expertise in leading complex digital business at Group Marketing Director role and above
• Strong budgetary and people management experience
• Expertise to deliver commercial value through leadership of engaged digital marketing teams
• Motivation to evolve personally as a people leader to ensure effective leadership by example
