About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Senior Analyst, Risk in Change and & Risk Governance on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting risk governance, risk culture initiatives and risk in change capability within Group Tech. You will maintain and enhance the IT risk and control profile, ensuring it reflects the current operating environment, giving regard to changes delivered through change initiatives and transformation programs. This will include supporting timely capture of issues, treatment plans, action and evaluation of risk impacts.

Reporting to the Risk Partner, Technology Regulatory Compliance & Governance Reporting, you will support the development of insightful, forward looking, actionable risk reporting. Bringing together work undertaken by the team of IT risks and controls, incidents and issue management, control self-assessment, key risk indicators, treatment plans/actions and technoloy risk roadmap activities.

About you

As an experienced technology and operational risk professional, you will be a collaborative people and outcome focused professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment.

You will have an understanding of operational risk management frameworks, supporting standards, processes and practices. You also understand APRA Prudential Standards and are experienced in supporting your team while achieving results timely and with high quality.
