Housekeeping Services Officer – Bankston Terrance Care Community

About Bankstown Terrace (155 Beds):

Opened in 2018, our home is modern, welcoming, elegant, and full of life. Our excellent clinical care is complemented by a lifestyle where residents can socialise with friends and family at our onsite café, enjoy being pampered in our beauty salon, or soak up the district views from one of our many outdoor terraces. Our wellness centre provides in-home rehabilitation services, and we have two memory care neighbourhoods and a memory garden for residents who are living with dementia.

About the role:

• Based in Bankstown Terrace Care Community
• Permanent Part-time & Casual positions available.
• A range of weekday and weekend shifts available
• Cleaning of resident rooms and common areas of the Care Community
• Laundering of resident clothing, linen and other washing
• Providing excellent customer service to our residents in all areas

The successful candidates will possess:

• Previous experience in Hospitality or Housekeeping roles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Great communication and organisational skills
• Empathy with the needs of the frail aged including dementia care residents

All applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance via Opal’s police check system and undergo a pre-employment medical. You may also be required to attend a drug screen and complete psychometric testing. 

You must also be willing to obtain a personal NDISWC through your state government provider prior to commencing employment with us.

Please note: a current flu vaccination will also be required for you to work in our Care Communities, as well as full vaccination against COVID19.
