Job Description

Joining the Agriculture division of Australian Community Media (ACM) at a critical time in its shift to a digital first approach, the Agriculture Marketing Manager will lead marketing initiatives for the department including digital acquisition and retention, circulation growth, events, research, sponsorships and trade activity.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Agricultural Marketing Manager will work with Australian Community Media’s (ACM) leading agricultural news brands across all states. 

We are driven by a passion for keeping our communities strong, informed and connected, with ACM Agriculture including the nation’s best agricultural titles and events including The Land, Queensland Country Life, Ag Trader, FarmFest, AgQuip Field Days and farmbuy.com. The ACM network reaches an audience of millions of people across every state and territory with more than 160 trusted news brands publishing online and in print 

You will be responsible for building brand awareness and strengthening the connection of our agricultural news brands with our communities and audiences through engagement and activations, including partnerships with national and local events/organisations. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Be the key point of contact for the Ags brand management and marketing campaigns
  • Identifying, reviewing and evaluating event and partnership opportunities to grow ACM agricultural brands and consumer revenue
  • Negotiation, preparation and execution of sponsorship and contract agreements
  • Assist with end-to-end management of ACM owned, run or sponsored events
  • Create design briefs and manage the asset development of print and digital campaigns, working closely with the editorial team
  • Assist with organisation of schedules, design and production of advertising and promotional material
  • Manage both internal and external stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes for ACM and our partners
  • Drive awareness, audience and products to deliver a commercial benefit
  • Represent the company at functions, events and field days

  • Working knowledge of digital marketing campaigns
  • Email and digital marketing build and execution
  • Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
