On offer is the chance to join an expanding team at a high profile client in Perth where you will play a key part in major development projects planned. The roles main function will be to work closely with the companies subcontractor to ensure the projects deliverables are met.

To be successful for this role you must be able to multi-task and be able to work as part of a team but also independently (cultural fit will be a deciding factor with these roles).

Responsibilities include:

• Previous history of supporting early phase Engineering and Technology projects
• Strong skills in process control including data and networking systems and equipment, PLC and interoperability
• Design skills for Citect SCADA, Allen Bradley and Yokogawa solutions preferred
• Experience in integrating to other operational application technology such as downtime management and historian preferred
• Development and inputs into management of change and site processes
• Implementing technologies spanning equipment, hardware, software and communications
• A proven track record of technical delivery for complex or large-scale projects across design, development, implementation and operations

Skills required:

• Project based background in the mining industry in particular experience and knowledge in mines, rail or ports with exposure to control systems.
• Experience in project design, planning, implementation and testing.
• Strong requirement to record and document technical requirements and operational needs – professionally
• Ability to own, manage and resolve technical issues
• Embraces a fast paced, high pressure, rewarding environment
• Proven written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to actively work and contribute in a close team environment
• Adhoc site travel may be required
