Software Engineer
Burwood
6 Months Contract
Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced ‘Software Engineer’.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing software, platform, data, and integration analysis, participate in the design process applying experience, and then develop, integrate, test, deploy and support the full product suite.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of products, solutions and processes using DevOps, ITIL and Agile practices in a collaborative manner.
- Provide active support to Solution Architects, Service Owner and Product Owner to ensure the best options are considered in the development and support of the product.
- Establish close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders to provide an optimal customer experience, operational excellence, and achievement of business objectives.
- Provide analysis and evaluation of service delivery issues and collaborate with service groups to identify and rectify issues and root-cause problems.
- Assist in the transition of the legacy platforms to the new cloud-enabled products.
Key Criteria:
- Demonstrated skill and experience in software solutions, products and processes.
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.
