This opportunity
The Network Engineer position is responsible to provide network architecture, product development and tier-3 support to the operational team on the IP & MPLS Network.
Responsibilities
Provide R&D for business growth. Provide network design for BAU operations. Provide SDWAN and Security product support to the sales & products teams. Develop technical design documentations (HLD, LLD, Network Drawings, Test Plans & Test Reports). Provide internal training when requested by the business. Provide tier-3 support to the operational team. Provide design solution support to the Customer Engineering. Be familiar with policies and procedures, as well as completing any associated training, as communicated or made available on the intranet and our learning systems. Knowledge and experience
Degree qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field. Industry certification (or equivalent) to the level of CCNP. Industry certification (or equivalent) to the level of Cisco (ENDESIGN) is highly desirable. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an operational role. Minimum 3 years’ experience in an SDWAN networking role. Minimum 1 years’ experience working in Firewall role. Minimum 1 years’ experience working in an ISP environment. Demonstrate experience in managing the delivery of network projects. Essential skills in OSPF, BGP, FRR, BFD, LDP, RSVP, QoS, VLL and VPLS. Essential experience in Cisco. Proven experience in SDWAN – ideally with Fortinet or Meraki Proven troubleshooting skills on network related faults. Proven Cloud experience (Azure/AWS) Understanding of development issues surrounding product development. Strong documentation and project management skills.
