Job Description

Life Choice Wide Bay Burnett has been providing services and support to people with disabilities across the Fraser Coast area since 1996. We provide support services including support Coordination, Allied Health, in-home assistance, accommodation support and everyday life skill development.

Due to expansion of our Allied Health and Support Coordination teams we are seeking a part time administration assistant to join our team working 15 hours per week, with the potential to increase as our teams continue to grow. We are flexible in the spread of hours throughout the week.

What will your new role have you doing?  

  • Being a key point of contact for Allied Health and Support Coordination related enquiries i.e. services available, appointments and billing 
  • Providing high level administrative support and scheduling for the Allied Health and Support Coordination teams 
  • Effective and efficient management of clinician diaries and communicating with internal allied health staff and external key stakeholders 
  • Ensuring NDIA guidelines are followed and implemented
  • Aiding the Allied Health Team Leader where required with coordination of tasks, minute taking, report and letter writing
  • Embracing change in line with the principles of continuous improvement and play an active role in the future development and direction of Life Choice 

 

What is Life Choice looking for in an Administration Assistant?  

You will have: 

  • Previous administration experience, ideally medical reception 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to be self-driven and autonomous
  • A can-do positive attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills

 

Pre-Employment screening

  • Criminal history check 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card) 
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

 

REMUNERATION

Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) 2010

Classification:  Commensurate with experience
