Job Description
As a Program Officer within Private Housing Programs you will contribute to the successful management of a range of homelessness related programs and projects, including partnering for impact to reduce homelessness by:
• Coordinating a high volume of information requests and providing accurate and timely advice utilising well-developed communication and time management skills. • Drafting a range of written material including proposals, project plans, recommendations, submissions and briefing papers. • Monitoring budgets including consistent production of financial reporting and monitoring methods. • Actively contributing to program planning, budget and program reporting ensuring targets and timelines are achieved. • Working within a legislative and regulatory framework. • Engaging and coordinating activities with diverse stakeholders. • Dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information in a professional and ethical manner. • Researching, updating and maintaining knowledge base of national/international social housing reform, innovation, research and trends. • Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
