An exciting opportunity has become available for a proactive, highly motivated and client-focused Business Development (BD) Coordinator to join our BD & Marketing team based in Melbourne.
The successful candidate will mainly support the Corporate practice group, while working closely with the Melbourne and national marketing teams. Working to deadlines and an ability to work on multiple projects and prioritise accordingly is important, as is building and maintaining strong relationships with members of the wider Business Development team, partner group and lawyers. You will have a hand in the execution of client and internal events and communications including newsletters and other publications. Your workload will be different every day on tasks such as updating various databases such as team deal credentials and lawyer CVs, assisting on tasks associated with pitching and winning business and general administration duties. This role will be a great opportunity to gain experience in different key areas in the business development and marketing sector.
You should be enthusiastic and apply energy to your work.
Ideally you will hold tertiary qualifications in either marketing, communications, business or similar. Events or prior marketing experience would be looked upon favourably as would a knowledge of, or experience within, the legal industry.

- Advanced MS Office and a good working knowledge of Word styles and formatting and Adobe. Knowledge of Interaction an advantage
- Willingness to pitch in and help – often under tight timeframes
- Organised and efficient
- Takes responsibility and delivers what is required of them
