About the role

The Workplace Technology Support role will play an integral role in achieving remarkable results on complex, technical integration projects, delivered on time, to budget and that achieve the project objectives and business outcomes. You apply your technical expertise in ICT infrastructure, integrations and Telstra products with your exceptional project delivery skills to drive projects to their success.

The role will be based at 242 Exhibition Street and the preferred candidate will work onsite as part of the onboarding program and PC Lease operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Application Support & Improvement to understand their business problems, and help to create technology-based opportunities for their business

  • Contribute to operational rhythm of the business to enable the delivery of functional unit specific programs of work and key metrics, ensuring that they are delivered on time and budget

  • Support the service delivery, process, and workflow for multiple unique Workplace Technology product streams (including but not limited to: MyHomeToolkit, Internal Telecommunications Services, and Telstra Laptops).

  • Handle and resolve critical escalations that arise.

  • Liaise with onshore and offshore partners and vendors, including adherence to KPIs and key deliverables as per contractual agreements.

  • Conduct process mapping and improvements.

  • Define and create program specific user stories for application developers to implement improvements.

  • Implement and perform User Acceptance and Business Verification Testing (UAT & BVT) schema.

  • Drive continuous improvement, transformation, and efficiency into the current business operations processes, including driving self-serve and automation.

  • Contribute to process design, knowledge management and communications for Application Support & Improvement technology.

  • Implement the team’s backlog and remove impediments to ensure delivery of exceptional customer experiences and exceptional service to all stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of key reporting frameworks.

  • Identify opportunities to innovate and encourage others to share ideas which create greater efficiency and team effectiveness

  • Recognised as an expert within Workplace Technology Solutions for device technology make ready

  • Operate as a thought leader and SME new and existing Workplace Technology devices and services.

  • Maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with device, platform, service, and property vendors.

  • Develop an intimate understanding of new and emerging Office and Workplace technologies, products, and services, with a view towards implementation across Telstra’s workplace portfolio and office space.

  • Work collaboratively with system developers to deliver integrations and automations between various internal and external system platforms for simplified device delivery.

  • Develop an intimate understanding of the employee onboarding process and deliver key system and product improvement to make this a highly revered process across Telstra and an incredible employee experience.

  • Build laptops and other devices and assist with dispatch and logistics

To be successful in this role, you will have:
