Summary of the role :
We are looking for a graduate DevOps Engineer to join our product development team. You will be joining our growing engineering organization developing our market-leading InsurTech solutions, working on the next generation products and platforms at an exciting time as we evolve our portfolio from desktop/on-premise towards cloud/SaaS with a growing DevSecOps organisation
As a DevOps Engineer you will be exposed to a wide range of tools and technologies as you help to maintain development environments and contribute to the development of comprehensive CI/CD processes via automation of infrastructure deployment and regression test execution. As part of our global DevOps team, you will also help to ensure local compliance with global governance and security guidelines.
In this role, you will
- Manage compliance of local Azure based environments against global guidelines.
- Maintain performance and availability of Azure based environments.
- Monitor and report on cloud infrastructure costs against budget using PowerBI.
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using ARM & Pulumi (C#).
- Develop Pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML.
- Write scripts using PowerShell / Bash.
- Update Azure VM build infrastructure via Puppet
- Document processes and configurations using Markdown
- Deploy and configure SQL server instances
- Monitor and manage Azure Kubernetes clusters
Qualifications:
- Aptitude for learning new technologies
- Demonstratable programming / scripting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A well organised and detail-oriented way of working.
- Great time management skills and an ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills
