We are excited to announce a new role for a Product Manager specialising in Startup companies.

Our client is expanding in the digital business space and looking for a Product Manager coming from fast moving, high growth startups.

The role

Acting as Product Manager, you will shape the future of the business. If you are looking to make a huge impact and come in with ideas ready to execute, then you are the ideal candidate and will prove an asset to the team.

• Research, build and launch new features.
• Identify and execute hypothesis-driven experiments that will lead to step-change improvement in pirate metrics.
• Orchestrate user discovery, interviews and testing to narrow down on and improve features – driving towards evidence-based design and UI thinking.
• Write detailed PRDs to streamline design and development of new features.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to transform specs into world-class product experiences.
• Monitor and analyze product metrics to uncover unique insights about where to invest and where to descope.
• Make sure we are continuously delivering outcomes by working with the team to break work apart into bite-sized chunks with ambitious but achievable deadlines.

All about you

• Ideally coming from a startup FMCG company
• Mid – Senior level experience with 3+ years of product management experience at a high-growth company, shipping consumer-facing products and apps that people love – and that move metrics.
• You have strong product sense and user empathy. You’re able to put yourself in the shoes of users and can predict how products and experiences will be perceived and used.
• You have an uncanny ability to think from first principles in everything that you do.
• You are hypothesis-driven and empirical, obsessing over evidence-based and metrics-driven approaches and creating closed feedback loops whenever you ship something.
• You have a track record of taking initiative to find new product ideas and turn them into massive outcomes.
• You have exceptional prioritization skills and smart, scrappy approaches to testing and building.
• You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and can communicate requirements, ideas and results in a way anyone can easily understand – internally and externally.
• You are a cross-functional leader who gets an organization working together towards strategic objectives – especially with engineering, design, marketing and support.
• You are comfortable with SQL and Google Sheets and can comfortably analyse our data to measure impact of new features as well as identify new opportunities.

In terms of personality, we are ideally seeking someone that has flair and is confident in who they are and what they can provide. Someone who doesn’t like corporate jargon, but gets straight to business, brings the team together and works to create an incredibly collaborative environment.
