Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join their existing dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting high-quality software solutions that meet the business requirements of our company and its customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack software development, C#, .Net Core, and JS frameworks (Angular, React or Vue). The candidate should also have experience working in an Agile development environment, coaching, and mentoring less experienced software engineers, and experience working with mapping and address lookup applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, robust, and scalable software solutions that meet the documented user requirements and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with technical leads, software engineers, and the Software Engineering Manager to establish the most suitable architecture for new products
• Participate in Agile Development processes including estimation, sprint planning, sprint showcases, sprint retrospectives, and iteration management
• Assist with the implementation of software releases
• Provide communication to stakeholders regarding the progress of all assigned software development tasks
• Share information and communicate freely with other team members to minimize the risk of knowledge silos and improve the overall supportability of all applications
• Coach and mentor less experienced software engineers
• Take part in shared planning sessions to be aware of activities with other systems and products
• Participate in requirements gathering and solution design activities
• Continuously learn new skills necessary to advance in the role

Qualifications/Abilities/Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in IT or software engineering
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development (mandatory)
• 3+ years of experience in C#, .Net Core, JS frameworks (Angular, React or Vue) (mandatory)
• 1+ years of experience working with Agile development methodology (mandatory)
• Experience coaching and mentoring less experienced software engineers (desirable)
• Sound knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office desktop applications (mandatory)
• Experience working in a CI/CD development environment (desirable)
• Experience gathering requirements and designing solutions (desirable)
• Superior English language verbal and written communication skills
