About the Company
The Adelaide Wellbeing Practice is a medical practice set in a beautiful heritage building in the eastern suburbs of the Adelaide CBD. This well-established medical practice is led by experienced Dr Marty Ewer who specialises in treating post-traumatic stress disorder and natural therapy such as mindfulness. In addition, his team of passionate medical staff take pride in providing exceptional patient care and support.
About the Role
As part of a small and friendly team, the part-time role of Medical Receptionist is offered on a part-time, permanent basis working from Tuesday to Thursday. Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly. You will welcome patients, book appointments, liaise with medical and legal staff and most importantly you will ensure all patients are met with kindness, empathy and compassion. You will further support Dr Marty with proof reading, document control and other ad hoc administration duties. You will work as one with the team and enjoy the stability and longevity that this role has to offer.
Duties

Assist patients in person, over the phone and via email

Book patient appointments and reschedule appointments

Collect report documentation, file and maintain all medical records

Proofread medical reports

Assist with basic medical billings

Liaise with external services to gain required information for patients
Skills & Experience

Expert administrative and organisational skills

Previous success in a busy reception role

Impeccable telephone manner and customer service
-
Proven typing and computer skills
-
Triple vaccinated against Covid-19 and a current influenza shot
