Salary Range:  $89,575.20 – $95,347.82 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high performing, suitability qualified and highly experienced IT professional to join our team in this key role as our Senior Systems Engineer.

As the newest member, you will be responsible for the design, development, and every stage of the IT infrastructure lifecycle delivery and management of solutions in a hybrid (cloud and internal) environment. You will also advise on and ensure the availability, performance, functionality, security, integrity and integration of cloud services and internal services.

Our ideal candidate you will have:

Tertiary qualifications in an Information Technology related discipline or extensive equivalent industry experience in Systems support and administration within a large multi-function organisation

Advanced knowledge/experience in various key technologies such as:

Identity Management

Cloud Services e.g. Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365

Windows Domain environments, including Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory Services

Scripting e.g. Powershell

Application Delivery Controllers

Innovation and vision to anticipate future operational requirements and direction based on a strong understanding of the I&TS Strategy

Demonstrated high level written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

Your Team:  

The Information & Technology Services team provides a service to ensure all equipment and systems are operational, in order to achieve business objectives and service to the community. 

The Operational Support Team is specifically responsible for the Corporate Council IT Networks and Server Infrastructure, along with Cloud and Desktop Environments.
