We are seeking applications from HR / IR professionals and are open to accept applications from current Advisors or Senior Advisors who are looking for their next challenge.
 
We have a number of roles available located at our Corporate Office in Henderson, WA or joining our construction projects working a FIFO roster, 2 weeks on 1 week off. individuals who are generally interested in people and making a difference are encouraged to apply as this is a high impact role where no two days are the same. 

The Role

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Responsible and focal point of contact for the HR / IR function for the Project.
  • This includes supporting advice relating to Learning & Development, Indigenous Affairs and Recruitment. 
  • Providing advice to employees and the company on the effective management of employee relations including: 
    • Interpretation of employment contracts, enterprise agreements and legislation
    • Performance management
    • EEO
    • Counselling / Discipline and Termination
    • Grievance Management
  • Provide advice on HR procedures and systems and ensure effective application of those throughout the company.
  • Identifies human resource issues and appropriate intervention
  • Coordinate Right of Entry visits including any dispute resolutions.
  • Undertake special projects including investigations and research on project HR matters.

About You

  • Previous experience on managing complex IR issues on multidiscipline sites within similar industries.
  • Flexibility to perform site visits and travel to remote sites.
  • Previous FIFO experience is preferred however not mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of the industrial relationship framework and Fair Work Act
  • Developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A drive towards continuous improvement
  • Outstanding communication and written skills
  • Human Resources / Industrial Relations degree or qualification is preferred.
