As a key member of the IT team, you will responsible for:

• Manage incoming and outgoing calls for level 1 technical support
• Manage Network access
• Install required applications on desktops
• Undertake diagnostic investigations and where necessary, arrange in-house repair or remedial action
• Liaise with technicians and internal customers in relation to their calls/requests

Ideally, you will demonstrate:

• 1+ year of previous Help Desk/Troubleshooting experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to detect, analyse and resolve hardware and software problems
• A strong work ethic and proven ability to work successfully as part of a team
• An interest in working in a help desk environment or technical support related role
• A strong background working with Windows operating systems
• Understanding of Windows Server
• Understanding of network protocols
• Understanding of IT related hardware and software solutions
• An interest in supporting software and applications within the windows environment
• Any background with POS systems (this is an advantage but not a pre-requisite)
• A completed qualification in IT or someone studying towards IT would be highly regarded
