    The Opportunity

    Reporting to the IT Lead, the Senior IT Professional operates locally from our West Perth office but delivers functional expertise of IT systems and solutions for the Pacific region. This role will encompass working on local and regional projects, overseeing the day-to-day IT deliverables, as well as coaching and supporting junior IT staff.

    Duties include:

  • Develop, implement, support and maintain IT solutions, systems and operations
  • Respond to stakeholder needs in a timely and friendly manner
  • Utilize cloud services such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud
  • Manage and execute local and regional projects in line with business needs and timelines, whilst maintaining a high level of communication at all stages of the process
  • Coach, mentor and provide encouraging support to junior IT staff
  • Prioritise competing tasks and manage deadlines

    • About You

    Your success in securing this role will require:

  • Qualification in IT / Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Ideally 5 years’ experience on managing/supporting enterprise application and infrastructure environment, virtualization, data centre, LAN/WAN technologies, storage and backup systems
  • Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, SharePoint, Intune, SCCM, DNS/DHCP, RDP/RDS and VMware
  • Understanding of cloud architectures and working experience in cloud and/or virtualized infrastructure of sizeable scale will be an added advantage
  • Adaptable, great communication skills and the ability to support and mentor junior staff
