Overview:
Our large Federal Government client has a requirement for a Logistic Support Officer (level 3) who holds a current TSPV security clearance. Manage the demand, receipt, storage, security, maintenance, inspection, internal issue, stocktake and disposal of material held by the Commonwealth Representative.
Administer and manage asset inventory control via relevant asset management system for all specialist equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
 
Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience working in a logistic or warehouse environment role
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• High level computer skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work under limited supervision or independently and demonstrate being open to following standard operating procedures positively and proactively

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage entry into service, ongoing sustainment and disposals aspects associated with relevant projects
• Provide reports on equipment and stores as required, including monthly reports on stock holdings, disposals and usage
• Work collaboratively with staff (East and West locations) to ensure asset management is compliant, economical, effective, efficient and ethical
• Liaise as required with other stakeholder agencies and organisations in relation to oversight and management of specialist equipment.
• Conduct of stocktaking of Contractor Managed Commonwealth Assets (CMCA) including:
• Maintain the accounting for and control, handling, preservation, protection and maintenance
• Undertake cyclic stocktakes as directed
• Develop and deliver monthly reports
• Conduct investigations into every discrepancy arising from stocktakes
• Perform other logistic and governance administrative tasks as directed

Contract terms: Start 1 July 2023, with a contract term of 12 months from commencement, with 4×12 month extensions available.  
Location: Perth, WA based.  
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 3.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
