National Hr Manager

YOUR ROLE
Our client is looking to add an HR Manager to their growing team based in  their head office in Melbourne. Your role will see you supporting the CEO and the national team to drive the business to the next level of growth. You will be focused on the people engagement element of the business rather than the legislative structure, driving people focused activity across all the relevant functions. The role will engage from the C-Suite to the field and will deploy the global strategy focus driven from the European Global HR Manager.

You will also be responsible for undertaking the following main responsibilities :

• Participation in the establishment, optimization and further development of the local HR processes
• Focus on the retention, engagement, succession planning and nurturing of the national team.
• Develop the leadership capability and capacity of the team.
• HR Project activity (both in Australia and globally)

Some other key criteria for success:

A bachelor’s degree in HR (or equivalent) is preferred. 
Proven experience in a similar role. 
Independent and structured way of working
A nurturing and people focused mindset
Willing and able to travel both nationally when required
