Software Engineer

Burwood
6 Months Contract

Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced ‘Software Engineer’.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide ongoing software, platform, data, and integration analysis, participate in the design process applying experience, and then develop, integrate, test, deploy and support the full product suite.

Participate in the continuous improvement of products, solutions and processes using DevOps, ITIL and Agile practices in a collaborative manner.

Provide active support to Solution Architects, Service Owner and Product Owner to ensure the best options are considered in the development and support of the product.

Establish close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders to provide an optimal customer experience, operational excellence, and achievement of business objectives.

Provide analysis and evaluation of service delivery issues and collaborate with service groups to identify and rectify issues and root-cause problems.

Assist in the transition of the legacy platforms to the new cloud-enabled products.

Key Criteria:

Demonstrated skill and experience in software solutions, products and processes.

Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.
