About the opportunity
Blacktown City Council owns and operates a childcare business, Kids’ Early Learning, with a portfolio of 26 childcare centres and over 70 family day care educators.
Kids’ Early Learning has approximately 300 full-time, part-time and casual staff and operates throughout the Blacktown local government area, serving over 1700 families and providing care and learning needs for their children.
This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity primarily responsible for leading and coordinating Kids’ Early Learning (KEL) Relief educator placement to ensure operational and legislative requirements are met.
Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Diploma in Early Childhood, Business or Business Administration or equivalent
- Suitable experience within the Child Care sector
- Strong relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to think ahead and be able to provide a plan for the future
- Current Class “C” driver’s licence.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1216.80 per week
- 35-hour working week
- Opportunity to participate in Council’s flextime arrangement
